Denisa is proud to co-found Go Tennis after 12 years of coaching experience! She started teaching with Philpott Tennis during summer breaks from university, which fuelled a passion to pursue coaching as a career. During her junior days, Denisa participated mainly in tournaments in the United States Tennis Association, and only played in the Ontario Tennis Association in her final year of high school, achieving a top 20 ranking in that time. Denisa received a full tennis scholarship at Cleveland State University, a Division 1 school, where she still holds the team record for most singles wins in a season. Soon after graduating with a Business Degree in Marketing, Denisa received her Level 1 Instructor's Certificate with Tennis Canada, passing with Honours. She then attained her Level 2 Club Professional Certificate. Denisa has coached at several programs and clubs, working with players of all ages and levels, allowing her to gain experience in running and designing tennis programs. She is excited to now co-found Go Tennis and embark on this new journey of her coaching career. Denisa can't wait to see you on court!

Joe Bomben

Go Tennis Co-founder

Joe is proud to co-found Go Tennis after working with students of all levels at various clubs and programs around the GTA and the Midwest. In addition to Joe's 10 years of coaching experience, he also played NCAA tennis at St Joseph's College in Indiana. On scholarship, he went from playing as the 5th seed in his Freshman year to the number 1 spot by his Senior season. During his 4 years at St Josephs', Joe helped his team achieve the record for the most team wins from 2010-2014. In addition, the 2014 team in his senior year still holds the record for the most wins in school history. Joe achieved a bachelor of science in business management. As a competitive junior Joe always maintained a top 20 ranking competing in provincial tournaments as well as USTA tournaments. Joe is currently registered with TPA under Tennis Canada with a Level 1 coaching certification. Joe is excited for the start of Go Tennis and can't wait to make an impact on and off the court for tennis players all across Ontario!
